Ramayana The Legend of Prince Rama to re-release in theatres this October

The much-loved animated film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is set to make its theatrical debut at Indian theatres on October 18, 2024. The film will be released in four languages – Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu.
Sharing a teaser and a poster on social media on September 19, the makers of the film, Geek Pictures India, stirred the excitement around the film with its release announcement. The caption under the post read, “A tale as old as time, and forever alive in every heart. Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is coming to theatres across India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English on October 18! Teaser out now (sic).”

The Legend of Prince Rama, releasing during the Indian festive season of Dussehra and Diwali, promises to be a cinematic celebration, combining India’s cultural richness with the brilliance of Japanese anime. The film’s theatrical release was banned in India back in 1995.
Distributed across India by Geek Pictures India, AA Films and Excel Entertainment, the film is set to captivate audiences nationwide.
